HDNet brings HD coverage of NASA’s Endeavour launch

HDNet to bring LIVE high-definition coverage of Space Shuttle Endeavour launch by NASA. National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA) marks the importance of its 25th US mission to the International Space Station with its launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour. This shuttle will be launched from Kennedy Space Center on March 11 at 2.28 AM ET.

The launch of the shuttle is an international mission utilizing the competence and experience of other countries to work together to build a ‘home’ in space. The team would consist of a Japanese astronaut and a robot called Dextre. The astronaut will deliver Kibo laboratory build by Japanese and the Dextre, developed by Canadian Space Agency, two-armed robotic system.

HDNet will bring the LIVE coverage and it begins at 2.00 AM and will be a one hour program and with the launch of the Space Shuttle scheduled at 2.28 AM. There will also be re-telecast of the launch at 10.00 PM ET on March 11 HDNet.

I have my DVR ready – I’m pretty stoked about seeing it in HD…HUGE into the NASA stuff.
