CBS Sports and NFL Films produced Emmy Award winning weekly sports show ‘Inside the NFL’ that focuses on the National Football League (NFL) originally aired on HBO from 1977 through 2008 returns to SHOWTIME for a second season on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 9 p.m. ET. James Brown will host the show along with All Pro NFL greats Cris Collinsworth, Phil Simms and Warren Sapp serving as expert analysts and Jenn Brown as special correspondent.
2009 Inside the NFL will focus on all the other top stories in the NFL and preview teams and players to watch heading into the 2009 season. The 31st season of the inside the NFL will be broadcast on every Wednesday night on SHOWTIME through the NFL season, with multiple replays each week on SHOWTIME and SHOWTIME 2.
The first season of ‘Inside the NFL’ on SHOWTIME earned the Emmy Award for Outstanding Studio Show, Weekly, its ninth overall Emmy and the first for SHOWTIME Sports.
