Insight Communications To Add More Than 30 HD Channels in Louisville, Kentucky

Insight Communications, which serves Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio states has announced that the cable operator will be expanding its high-definition programming line-up as part of a service upgrade called Digital 4.0.

Insight cable is expected to deliver more than 30 HD channels in December as a part of this upgrade. Following channels are expected to be added in high-definition.

A&E

ABC Family

AMC

Bravo

Disney

ESPNews

ESPNU

FX

National Geographic

SciFi

Sundance

The History Channel

The Weather Channel and

USA

Insight Communications also planning to add more HD channels in the Lexington, Kentucky area in December. Insight will deliver almost 15 HD channels in this market areas. Columbus and Bowling Green, Ohio as well as Evansville, Kentucky subscribers are expected to get more than 15 HD channels in December.

Reba Doutrick, Insight Communications Director of Community Relations said “People are always wanting more HD channels, more people are buying HD TV sets, and once people see channels in high definition, they want to see more.”
