Insight Communications To Launch 16 HD Channels in Lexington, Kentucky

The eighth largest cable operator in the United States, Insight Communications has announced that the cable operator will be launching 16 new high-definition channels in the Lexington, Kentucky area. The cable operator with 1,370,000 subscribers in the states of Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio said that the new HD channels will be available to subscribers by end of November or early December. Insight now offers 40 high-definition channels and the new high-definition channels added will be without any additional charge to the subscribers. Following are the new HD channels expected to be launched:
A&E HD
AMC HD
Bravo HD
Cinemax HD
CNBC HD
CNN HD
Food Network HD
Fox Business Channel HD
Fox News Channel HD
HGTV HD
History Channel HD
Science Channel HD
Sci-Fi Channel HD
Starz HD
Travel Channel HD
and
USA Network HD

Insight Cable also has aggressive expansion plans and will deliver same number of high-definition channels in Columbus and Bowling Green, Ohio and Evansville, Kentucky.
