Time Warner Cable has announced that it will launch many new high-definition channels next month in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Mt. Vernon. Time Warner is expected to reach 100 HD channels in this area before December. The cable operator is expanding its HD programming line-up to with stand the competition it faces from Verizon Communications, as the Telco has already reached 100 HD channels.

Time Warner has decided to rename few channels and also launch following channels in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Mt. Vernon programming line-up
