Verizon FiOS TV will include MavTV HD in their high-definition line-up this year. But there is no exact plan when the channel will be added into their line-up.
This is according to Multichannel News.
Verizon FiOS TV, now have around 30 high-definition channels in its offering and is planning to deliver 150 high-definition channels by the end of the year. MavTV mainly targets the age group of 18 and 54 and offer programming on gambling, sports, comedy, women and gadgets and is available in New Zealand, Australia and in some parts of the U.S.A. The main programming offered by the MavTV are Real Guys, American Tailgater and Bikini All-Stars.
“All of our original production has been shot in HD since the second quarter of 2007,” MavTV executive vice president of sales and marketing Doug Jost said in a statement. “We have been amassing a robust HD library in anticipation of our launch this year. The agreement with Verizon marks a significant step forward for our HD efforts and we couldn’t be more excited about partnering with them,”
