MGM To Produce New Pink Panther & Pals Series to Air on Cartoon Network

MGM Worldwide Television (MGM) has announced it has partnered with Turner Broadcasting to produce a new 26 episode animated series to be broadcast on Cartoon Network channels worldwide in Fall 2009. The show is being produced and its taking place in Los Angeles and Amman, Jordan.

The series will be half-hour animated series produced for MGM’s much-loved Pink Panther franchise. Favorite characters from the original series such as Ant and Aardvark and new characters Hoarse and Dog join the Pink Panther in his daily adventures.

Gary Marenzi, Co-President, MGM Worldwide Television said “The Pink Panther character is iconic and instantly recognized around the globe, In addition to Cartoon Network’s interest in the series, international buyers have been especially eager for us to produce another Pink Panther series and we are happy to partner with Rubicon on meeting the worldwide demand with this new series.”
