DirecTV viewers in USA will have option to view Mountain West Conference programming from August 1 onwards as Mountain West Conference, known as The Mtn, has reached an agreement with DirecTV and the Satcaster will carry The Mtn programming. This contract will allow many viewers to see their favorite Mountain West Conference teams play on DirecTV.
Since all these days The Mtn is carried to 1.2 million homes nationally and after this agreement with DirecTV, The Mtn viewership rate will increase considerably to more million DirecTV subscribers added to the list. Apart from Fans, many athletic directors are also happy that The Mtn on DirecTV. Craig Thompson, MWC Commissioner will be a relived man to learn the development as he was under severe pressure and even criticized. Thompson was all praise for the deal and was happy to say that “With the DirecTV deal The Mtn will reach more than 16 million homes across US and this will give more exposure to all the member institutions.”
