MSG has announced that it will broadcast French professional footballer Thierry Henry’s first Major League Soccer game on Saturday, July 31 at 8:30 p.m. from the Houston Dynamo’s Robertson Stadium.
Henry signed a multi-year contract with MLS club New York Red Bulls, as its second designated player in July, 2010. He is a World Cup, European Championship and UEFA Champions League winner with a career total of 51 goals internationally.
Most recently he played for FC Barcelona, where he scored 49 goals in a three season stint. Henry scored one goal in his debut for the Red Bulls on July 22 against English Premiership club, Tottenham Hotspur, in the Barclays New York Challenge at Red Bull Arena.
MSG has announced that during the game on Saturday, July 31 it will flash a code on-screen which fans can then enter at MSG.com for a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
One fan will win the Henry Experience Prize Package, which includes the opportunity to attend an exclusive training session with Thierry Henry and the Red Bulls, four VIP Tickets to an upcoming Red Bulls Match at Red Bull Arena, and one official Red Bulls jersey autographed by Thierry Henry.
