NEP’s Mobile 3D Production Trucks SS31 And SS32 To Cover ‘Home Run Derby’ broadcast For ESPN 3D

The leading television production service provider NEP Broadcasting has overhauled the first mobile 3D production truck SS31 and built brand new SS32. SS31 truck was used to broadcast first 3D match coverage of the Ohio State versus University of Southern California College Football game for ESPN.

SS31 and SS32 will be used by ESPN 3D to cover the Home Run Derby broadcast on ESPN 3D on July 11.

NEP’s newest mobile 3D production truck SS32 will be the primary unit for ESPN’s 3D coverage. SS32 is equipped with the latest 3D imaging and camera rig technology from PACE. It offers a quick, flexible and powerful 3D solution with a variety of PACE 3D rigs that include Sony cameras and Fujinon lenses, EVS XT2plus servers, Sony SRW and Panasonic DCV Pro tape machines, a Sony MVS8000-X switcher, and a Calrec Alpha audio board with BlueFin, SS32 can handle any size production.
