CBSSports.com has revealed the traffic for the March Madness on Demand, as comparing last year there was a huge jump of 122% increase in traffic. Why so much increase in traffic comparing the last year?
There are several reasons to mention but the main thing is CBS had partnered with about 200 websites like Yahoo, ESPN and Sports Illustrated and also with leading social websites like Facebook and also with Youtube. Another aspect and important one for increase in traffic for NCAA March Madness on Demand is that CBSsports dropping the registration requirements for the video player.
This is the first year that with regardless of local blackouts all the 63 games of the NCAA Division Men’s Basketball Championship is available online. This includes Championship game and Final Four in San Antonio and also from the first round games.
