RCN Corporation delivers 10 HD channels to New York City

RCN Corporation, a cable television and high speed Internet service provider based in Herndon, Virginia has announced that they are adding 10 new high-definition channels to its programming line-up in the New York City market. This delivery of new HD channels is not a surprise as many operators are adding more HD channels in their line-up. The new HD channels delivered by RCN Corporation include :
Animal Planet HD
Discovery Channel HD
Food Network HD
HGTV HD
Lifetime Movie Networks HD
NFL Networks HD
The Learning Channel HD
The Science Channel HD
Travel Channel HD and
VERSUS/Golf HD
Apart from these new HD channels, RCN Corporation is also expanding its HD Content in its Video ON DEMAND service.
RCN Corporation’s serves much of Manhattan and the Queens communities of Astoria, Corona, Elmhurst, Flushing, Forest Hills, Fresh Meadows, Jackson Heights, Kew Gardens, Long Island City, Maspeth, Middle Village, Rego Park, Sunnyside, and Woodside, as well as parts of downtown Brooklyn and Brighton Beach in New York Market.
