RCN Corporation has announced the launch of new Spanish-language package ‘MiVision Lite.’ RCN has made some changes by renaming ‘MiVision package’ to MiVision Plus and this package offers the same channels as the current MiVision package and the price also remains same.
MiVision Plus provides the current 30 channels offered and will continue to grow its Hispanic-themed content. MiVision Lite does not include ESPN Deportes or Gol TV and may not include future Spanish-channel additions.
Richard Ramlall, RCN Senior Vice President, Strategic External Affairs & Programming said “RCN chose to proactively create MiVision, our Hispanic-oriented programming tier in 2006 to benefit its Spanish-speaking customers by addressing the group’s diverse heritage, culture, and strong sense of family. We’re proud to be an industry leader in offering a customized line up of Spanish-content themed packages and by offering two separate MiVision packages we provide even more choice to get the services customers need and want.”
