RCN Enters Deal With NBC Universal To Deliver 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games

RCN Corporation enters an agreement with NBC Universal to offer multiplatform content of 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games.

This agreement will allow RCN to deliver more than 835 hours of unprecedented coverage of NBC Universal’s Olympic Winter programming to its subscribers.

RCN subscribers’ Olympics experience includes:
On Demand: NBC Universal is making gravity-defying highlights and full event rewinds available On Demand. Customers need not miss a minute of coverage, which includes every sport and event.
Pre-Games: NBC Universal will offer more than 20, five to seven minute clips available in SD and HD.
In Games: NBCU will offer more than 100 highlight clips, approximately 15 per day, in addition to up to five full-length daily event replays. Additionally, NBCU will offer more than 30% of In-Games VOD in HD.
