RCN Launches ‘NFL RedZone Channel’ On NFL Season’s Opening Sunday, Sept. 13.

RCN Corporation has announced that it will launch the NFL Network produced NFL RedZone channel on 2009-10 NFL season’s opening Sunday, Sept. 13. The NFL RedZone channel gives easy access to the most important moments of NFL Sunday football. Once a team gets inside their opponent’s 20-yard line, RCN customers will be able to experience the anticipation and excitement of each play within the red zone.

NFL RedZone keeps fans up-to-date in real time by switching from game to game with live look-ins, highlights and a chance to see every important play.

RCN launches The Redzone channel on September 13 at 1:00 PM ET/12:00 PM CT. to its subscribers in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Boston and Chicago on channel 684 in high-definition and on channel 360 in standard definition. The channel will be available on 200 in high-definition and on channel 148 in standard definition for its subscribers in Lehigh Valley, PA.
