RCN To Offer Free Preview of NFL RedZone Channel On October 4

RCN Corporation has announced that it will also offer free preview of NFL RedZone channel on October 4, from 1 pm to 4:15 pm ET. RCN launched NFL Redzone channel on Sep.13 and the channel enables football fans to watch touchdowns and key plays live on Sunday afternoons. Content will be continually updated to feature the most exciting moments as they happen.

RCN joins Verizon FiOS TV and Comcast in offering free preview of NFL Redzone channel on October 4.

NFL Redzone channel is available on channel 684 in high-definition and channel 360 in standard definition to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Boston and Chicago subscribers. Lehigh Valley, PA receives the channel on 200 in HD and 148 in SD.

RCN Senior Vice President Strategic External Affairs and Programming Richard Ramlall, said: “RCN is committed to delivering premier sporting events to our customers. This free preview will give RCN customers in New York and our other cities all the action and excitement that the new channel delivers.”
