Reelz Channel To Launch HD Channel in 2010

The Hubbard Broadcasting Corporation owned ReelzChannel that broadcast programming about movies has announced that an HD simulcast channel will be launched in third quarter of 2010.

The Reelz Channel started that it has begun the conversion of its in-house studio, field equipment and technology to switch to high-definition.

The channel will start producing all programming in HD from first quarter of 2010 and will accumulate HD programming before the launch of the channel in HD.

Stan Hubbard, CEO REELZCHANNEL, said: “The television viewer expects HD, and we are committed to delivering it to them. The  development of REELZCHANNEL in HD further demonstrates our commitment to entertaining consumers and movie fans everywhere.”
