FOX International Channels has entered an agreement with the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries Rentrak Corporation.

This agreement will allow Fox International Channels to employ Rentrak’s TV Essentials service to analyze the viewing habits of its audience and provide a stable and accurate currency for FOX to help attract advertisers to its network.

Fox network Utilisima has already employed Rentrak’s comprehensive suite of research tools that enable customers to analyze anonymous audience viewing of programming and advertising across VOD, DVR, interactive and linear television.

Hernan Lopez, COO, FOX International Channels said “As a new network in the early stage of distribution, it is critical to have access to robust and accurate media measurement in order to prove the value proposition of our unique programming to advertisers. The depth of knowledge Rentrak metrics provide to Hispanic networks provides an unparalleled advantage as Utilisima continues to expand in the United States.”

Carol Hinnant, Rentrak’s senior vice president of Business Development, Advance Media said “Rentrak is pleased to work with Utilisima and FOX International Channels as it is establishing a strong presence in the United States by providing the network with the ratings database currency that more accurately reports on its audience.”
