The Emmy Award-winning ‘SEC Gridiron LIVE’ returns to Fox Sports Network on Wednesday, September 1 at 10 p.m. ET. SEC Gridiron LIVE is the most comprehensive college football preview show on television, breaks down every SEC game with footage, interviews and analysis.

The SECGridironLIVE.com is the hub for the show’s robust social networking component, allowing viewers to participate in the live show and interact instantaneously with the broadcast team and SEC football fans across the country. During the show each week, SECGridironLIVE.com will host a live, interactive chat for viewers, and the website also will feature exclusive, behind-the-scenes videos and photo galleries.

Tim Couch, former University of Kentucky standout and the top pick in the 1999 NFL Draft, joins the live, weekly one-hour show as an analyst, with host Charles Davis and analyst Randy Cross. Also new to the SEC Gridiron LIVE team is social media host Kristina Akra.

Jeff Genthner, senior vice president and general manager of FOX Sports South and SportSouth said “Simply put, SEC Gridiron LIVE is the only live, weekly, one-hour show wholly dedicated to the fierce competition and fanaticism of SEC football. And because SEC football fans always have a lot to say about their teams, SEC Gridiron LIVE gives them a platform to share their opinions, stories and even photos with the entire SEC nation. Fans can interact with the show’s host and analysts live while the show is on the air…every week, all season long.”

SEC Gridiron LIVE host Charles Davis, who called the BCS National Championship Games in 2007, 2008 and 2009 for the FOX broadcast network, has an extensive background covering college football through his work with FSN, Big Ten Network, TBS college football coverage of the Big 12 and Pac-10 and Jefferson Pilot’s SEC coverage. Davis again teams up with Randy Cross, who earned three Super Bowl rings during his 13-year NFL career and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010. Cross is a host on Sirius NFL Radio, has been an analyst for CBS Sports and The NFL Today, and served as part of CBS Sports’ coverage of the NFC Playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Joining the SEC Gridiron LIVE team as an analyst is former University of Kentucky quarterback and All-American Tim Couch, the number one overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Couch previously worked as an analyst for the Big Blue Network and will partner with play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun and sideline reporter Jenn Hildreth as the analyst for FSN’s SEC Football Game of the Week this season.

Social media host Kristina Akra will oversee SEC Gridiron LIVE’s social networking components. The University of Florida graduate has worked with Kraft Sports Productions, the in-house production company for the New England Patriots, as the host and co-producer of Patriots Today and as a reporter for Patriots All Access.

SEC Gridiron LIVE returns on Wednesday, September 1 and runs for 15 weeks, concluding on December 8 following the SEC Football Championship. The live show airs each week at 10 p.m. ET and receives additional airings throughout the week until Saturday kickoff. Viewers should check their local listings for additional airings in their area.

The second season of live SEC football on FSN kicks off on Saturday, September 4 when the Auburn Tigers host the Arkansas State Indians at 7 p.m. ET. Couch, Rathbun and Hildreth will call an eight-game SEC Football Game of the Week package.
