Sixteenth Season ‘The NFL on Fox’ Kicks Off Sunday, September 13

The sixteenth consecutive season of the prestigious NFC package The NFL on FOX begins Sunday, September 13. The double header coverage of seven games will be presenetd in high-definition.

The Eli Manning and the defending NFC East Champion Giants host Jason Campbell and division rival Redskins at 4:15 PM ET. At 1:00 PM ET. The coverage is highlighted by Brett Favre’s first regular season game under center for the Vikings when they travel to Cleveland to take on Eric Mangini’s Browns. In Tampa, Tony Romo and the T.O.-less Cowboys face rookie head coach Raheem Morris and the Bucs.

2009 season coverage will begin with the pregame show FOX NFL SUNDAY, the Emmy Award-winning program will be co-hosted by Terry Bradshaw and Curt Menefee; and analysts Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Jimmy Johnson.

NFL Insider Jay Glazer is back for another season of the latest league news and scoops in the FOX NFL SUNDAY studio and comedic prognosticator Frank Caliendo contributes his weekly “Frank’s Picks” segment. 2009 NFL Sunday Schedule can be found here.
