Cox Communications has launched eight new high-definition channels in the Northern Virginia area. Cox has added these HD channels to increase the HD programming line-up in the Virginia state. Cox Communications is expanding its high-definition programming line-up in many markets and came up recently with five high-definition channels in San Diego, California.
