Time Warner Cable Adds Four HD Channels in Orange Country And Dropping HDNet Nationwide

Time Warner Cable has announced that it will add four new high-definition channels in Orange County. Time Warner has also stated that it will suspend HDNet from its programming line-up from May 31. Following are the new HD channels to be added:

Crime & Investigation HD – Channel 420

FOX Sports West HD – ch.463

FSN Prime Ticket HD – Ch.464 and

KPXN HD – Ch.410

Crime & Investigation in high-definition will be launched on HD tier and KPXN HD will be added to basic cable tier.

Darryl Ryan, spokesman for Time Warner’s Southern California said “After many discussions and a lot of hard work, we have not been able to reach terms. We were therefore required to provide legal notice that we’d have to drop HDNet and HDNet Movies.”
