Time Warner Cable has started adding 20 new high-definition channels in Ohio, starting August 1. Time Warner Cable’s new HD channels include Columbus and Newark areas.
Time Warner Cable is offering 41 HD channels at present and once the HD expansion completes on August 17, subscribers will receive more than 60 HD channels.
The cable operator is planning to add more HD channels in these areas before the end of summer and will end up with more than 100 HD channels.
Time Warner Cable adding following new HD channels in Columbus and Newark areas:

- Animal Planet HD – Ch.1133
- BET HD – Ch.1216
- Cartoon Network HD – Ch.1106
- CCCMT HD – Ch.1254
- Disney Channel HD – Ch.1101
- Disney XD HD – Ch.1102
- Encore HD – Ch.1290
- ESPNEWS HD – Ch.1305
- GAME HD 2 - Ch.739
- GAME HD – Ch.740
- Golf Channel HD – Ch.1316
- HLN HD – Ch.1351
- HSN HD – Ch.1176
- MLB Network HD – Ch.1326
- Nickelodeon HD – Ch.1103
- Palladia HD – Ch.1267
- Science Channel HD – Ch.1132
- Showtime 2 HD – Ch.1643
- Speed HD – Ch.1317
