Time Warner Cable has announced that it has launched 27 new high-definition channels to its subscribers in Corpus Christi and outlying areas that includes Alice, Beeville and Orange Grove, Texas on Aug.25. Time Warner subscribers with an HD set top box in these areas are served with the following new HD channels:

CNN HD – Ch 913
Discovery Channel HD – Ch 917
Disney Channel HD – Ch 859

Food Network HD – Ch 891
Fox News HD – Ch 914
FSN HD – Ch 894
Golf HD – Ch 910
Hallmark Movies HD – Ch 900
HGTV HD – Ch 892
History Channel HD – Ch 899
KIII (ABC) HD – Ch 875
Lifetime Movies HD – Ch 886
MLB HD – Ch 912
Palladia – Ch 902
Science Channel HD – Ch 919
SyFy HD – Ch 887
TLC HD – Ch 918
Travel Channel HD – Ch 889
USA HD – Ch 903
Versus HD – Ch 911 and
Weather Channel HD – Ch 915
With the launch of these new HD channels, Time Warner Cable is now offering 35 free HD channels to the subscribers in Corpus Christi.

The only HD channel that I am missing out on now is MyNetworkTV HD. Hopefully that one will come soon also because the SD broadcast just isn’t worth watching most of the time.
