Time Warner Cable announced the launch of Chinese language television programming New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) on channel 589 to digital cable subscribers in the New York City area. Time Warner has added NTDTV at no additional charge in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Mt Vernon, NY, as well as western-most Brooklyn and southeast Bergen County, NJ.
Roger McGarrahan, general manager of PathFinder World Video LLC, said “NTD is a prime example of the quality programming and value an ethnic channel can provide their target audience. And Time Warner Cable’s New York City system is the ideal partner and market for a launch of NTD’s channel. PathFinder is very proud to have played a role to introduce NTD to a broader audience.”
