Time Warner Cable Launches ESPNU in HD

Time Warner Cable has added ESPNU HD in its high-definition programming line-up and now available on channel 952. ESPN Networks launched ESPNU in high-definition on Thursday, August 28 and announced during the launch, sports network has carriage agreement with Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS TV, RCN, Atlantic Broadband and Broadstripe customers. Now Time Warner Cable has added the HD channel and other operators are expected to include the channel in near future.
Time Warner subscribers must have digital HD converter box and own a HD set to get the sports channel in high-definition. ESPNU HD is planning to televise more than 200 HD events, including all of its Live Thursday and Saturday college football games and also exclusive coverage of college basketball, lacrosse, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, hockey and more.
