Time Warner Cable will add Discovery Communications new Planet Green HD from June 11 in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens, New York.
Time Warner will be the first operator to carry the eco-friendly channel in high-definition after the launch of the channel on June 4, 2008, but DirecTV, Dish Network and Comcast have already added the channel in standard definition during the launch.
Planet Green replaced Discovery Home Channel and re-structured the programming.
