Time Warner Cable To Launch 11 HD channels in North Texas

Time Warner Cable has announced that it will add 11 new high-definition channels Dallas, Texas before Nov. 20. The cable operator won’t charge extra for watching any of these new HD channels. Time Warner is planning to add more HD channels in this region and has lined up about 20 high-def channels before the end of 2008. During the first phase of expansion Time Warner will be adding following 11 channels before next week end:

A&E HD - Channel 754

Animal Planet HD – Channel 757

CNN HD – Channel 740

Discovery HD – Channel 756

Food Network HD – Channel 752

Fox Sports SW HD – Channel 787

HGTV HD – Channel 753

History HD – Channel 745

National Geographic HD – Channel 771

TBS HD – Channel 744 and

Versus / Golf HD – Channel 786

Time Warner Cable also to deliver a new feature to view the older programming without recording the programs.
