Time Warner Customers in San Diego Area to get Six HD channels

Time Warner Cable will add six High-Definition channels in the San Diego area from April 8. To compete with the DirecTV’s high-definition Time Warner Cable also adding HD channels in the local markets. The cable operator plans to offer 100 new HD channels in New York area by the year end. The new channels that Time Warner will add from tomorrow are:

Animal Planet HD

CNN HD

Discovery HD

Food Network HD

HGTV HD and

The Learning Channel HD

“By increasing our HD channel offerings, Time Warner Cable ensures customers can get the most out of their HDTVs and watch what they want, when they want, in HD,” said Marc Farrar, a spokesman for Time Warner in San Diego.
