TV.com Announces Winners of its Annual Most Anticipated New Shows Polls

CNET Networks owned TV.com has announced the winners of the New Shows polls on Sept.1. Fox’s “Fringe” and “The Cleveland Show,” were voted as the most favorite new shows for the season. Fox’s “Fringe” was selected as most anticipated new drama and The Cleveland Show for the most anticipated new comedy. TV.com also brought back popular Premiere Plots feature “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Heroes” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” This polls and Premiere Plots are part of TV.com’s extensive feature around the upcoming fall TV season, which includes a comprehensive program calendar, online live chats during premieres, returning in-depth show summaries, episode guides, videos, downloads, news updates, actor bios, and cast photos, complemented by viewer reviews, forums, and blogs.

“While the critics may have their favorite new shows for the season, the most anticipated poll is a clear indication of what the fans are excited about,” said Erin Geiger, site director of TV.com. “Our active community members base their votes on months of information exchanging and opinion sharing on TV.com. This online buzz building is an exciting phenomenon that allows us to monitor trends and forecast hits.”
