Verizon Communications has launched 13 new high-definition channels to its FiOS TV subscribers in Tampa Bay region. Verizon is now offering 110 high-definition channels and more than 1,200 high-definition video-on-demand (VOD) titles offered every month.
Verizon also offers new subscribers signing for FiOS TV between now and Feb. 21 will have an option to receive their choice of free use for six months of either a high-definition (HD) digital video recorder (DVR) or an HD Home Media DVR.
Michelle Robinson, Verizon’s Southeast region president said “Only Verizon delivers all-digital TV over an all-fiber-optic network straight to customers’ homes, our advanced network creates the ultimate home-entertainment experience, with an ever-expanding channel lineup, the most HD channels, the best picture-and-sound quality and interactive features that go beyond old-fashioned cable.”
