Verizon has announced that it will bring first-ever Major League Baseball in 3D to FiOS TV subscribers. Verizon will deliver two 3D baseball games featuring the Yankees vs. the Seattle Mariners on July 10 and 11.

These two games will be available on the regional cable channel of the New York Yankees and New Jersey Nets ‘The YES Network.’ Two games in 3D is available to FiOS TV subscribers in NYC, Long Island, parts of New Jersey, and Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties.

Terry Denson, Verizon vice president said “We believe the 3D images of the action on the baseball field will be so real that viewers truly will feel like they are in the front row. FiOS TV viewers who see baseball in 3D will be tempted to duck their heads at the first foul ball that zips their way on the screen.”
