Verizon To Host Football-Watching Parties For The Biggest Game of The Year

Verizon announced that it’s planning to bring 1,000 simultaneous in-home football-watching parties on the biggest pro football day of the year Feb. 7, 2010. The party hosted by Verizon FiOS TV subscribers.

FiOS TV subscribers can apply to be one of the 1,000 hosts by visiting houseparty.com/fiosgameday and filling out an online registration form. During the parties, hosts and their guests can use FiOS TV’s innovative Twitter and Facebook widgets to post comments about the game on their TV screens.

John Wimsatt, senior vice president of marketing for Verizon, said “Once you see FiOS TV, you become a believer.
