Verizon Wireless has partnered with ESPN Mobile TV to launch ‘V CAST Video’ to deliver live coverage of college football on Verizon Wireless phones. Verizon Wireless mobile phone customers will receive live coverage of regular season games from conferences that include the ACC, BIG EAST, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC, streamed by ESPN Mobile TV.
Verizon Wireless mobile phone subscribers with V CAST-enabled feature phones can subscribe to V CAST Video to access full-length television shows plus news, sports, weather, live entertainment and also Verizon Wireless ESPN MVP service.
ESPN Mobile TV’s coverage for the September month will include match-ups between UCLA vs. Tennessee this Saturday, Sept. 12 and Utah vs. Oregon next Saturday, Sept. 19. In addition to live game coverage, fans will be able to access highlights, news and updates with V CAST Video, giving them the luxury of catching up on games at their own convenience.
